The Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar has been serving fine vegetarian fare and sharing the art of loose leaf teas since 2002. Located on Charlottesville’s Historic Downtown Mall, we are convenient to the outdoor pavilion, the Paramount Theater, and several other notable locations. The Tea Bazaar is inspired by travels to far off places. Inside, you will find a comfortable and artful ambiance, wonderful scents, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Our Tea Menu offers a seasonal selection of over 40 teas from around the world. All of our teas are steeped by the pot and can be purchased loose leaf by the ounce. Tea aficionados can often find unlisted teas behind the bar – just ask!  A wide variety of teaware is available for home brewing and gifts.

We are a comfortable, bohemian venue that caters to a diverse clientele. While savoring a pot of carefully-crafted tea, you can enjoy a view of the Downtown Mall from the Japanese Tatami area, cozy up on one of our couches, or find your niche on our back patio with a vista of our local mountains. One of Charlottesville’s 2 full-service vegetarian restaurants, our menu features homemade vegan and gluten-free meals, homemade desserts, plus international and local wines and ales. We also host Charlottesville’s only Hookah Bar. Tea Bazaar is a peaceful place to study, visit with friends or meet up with co-oworkers and get some qualitea work done.
